Our group is actively involved in the development of the Beam Delivery Simulation (BDSIM) software . BDSIM is a Geant4-based particle tracking code that allows a single model to simulated all primary and secondary particle tracking and all particle-matter interactions.

Zgoubi

We are continuously in contact with F.Méot, the main developer of the code Zgoubi . Zgoubi is a ray-tracing (tracking) code for beam dynamics simulations allowing step-by-step particle tracking in any magnetic or electrical fields.

Intense Beams group (IBG) of the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (RAL)

Collaboration on vertical Fixed-Field Alternating Gradient magnets (vFFA)

Collaboration with the Machine Protection Group and the Accelerator and Beam Physics Group

Ion Beam Applications

We are also in discussions with the Ion Beam Applications company for multiple projects such as numerical modelisation of the passive scattering eye treatment beamline, Protherwal and Caspro.
